Field mice used to move into one of our old houses in the winter. The cats refused to kill them as they perceived them as pets… Loved the rhyme and have an instant visual.
How funny! Currently there is a small field mouse situated under my living room chair. My cats brought it in this morning, let it away then suddenly got bored with the whole thing and are now napping away 🤦♀️
